West Coast Dream Cruisers – Rental Agreement

Effective Date: April 24, 2025

 

By renting a vehicle from West Coast Dream Cruisers, you agree to the following terms and conditions. This agreement outlines the responsibilities, safety requirements, and rental policies that govern the use of our 3- and 4-wheel scooters.

 

 

 

1. Eligibility Requirements

 

 

To rent or operate a West Coast Dream Cruisers vehicle, renters must:

 

  • Be 21 years of age or older

  • Weigh no more than 400 lbs.

  • Possess a valid, government-issued driver’s license.

  • Be physically and mentally capable of safely operating the vehicle.

 

 

 

 

2. Rental Terms

 

 

  • 3-Wheel Scooters are available at $125 for a 4-hour rental

  • 4-Wheel Scooters are available at $150 for a 4-hour rental

  • Rental periods are strictly timed. Late returns may result in additional fees.

  • Vehicles must be returned to the designated location, in the condition they were rented.

 

 

 

 

3. Safety and Operating Rules

 

 

  • No passengers are allowed unless using a vehicle specifically designed for two.

  • Scooters must not be operated under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or impairing medications.

  • Riders are required to obey all traffic laws, signs, and local regulations.

  • Reckless or dangerous operation may result in termination of rental without refund.

 

 

 

 

4. Damage and Loss

 

 

  • Renters are financially responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of the vehicle or its components during the rental period.

  • Any damage must be reported immediately to West Coast Dream Cruisers staff.

  • Renters must not attempt to repair, modify, or tamper with the vehicle.

 

 

 

 

5. Cancellations and Refunds

 

 

  • Cancellations made 24 hours or more in advance are eligible for a full refund.

  • No refunds are provided for no-shows or same-day cancellations.

  • Rentals may be canceled by West Coast Dream Cruisers due to inclement weather or safety concerns, in which case a full refund or rescheduling will be offered.

 

 

 

 

6. Assumption of Risk

 

 

Operating a motorized scooter involves inherent risks, including the potential for serious injury or death. By renting a vehicle, you acknowledge and accept these risks and agree to operate the vehicle in a safe and responsible manner.

 

 

 

7. Indemnification

 

 

Renters agree to indemnify and hold harmless West Coast Dream Cruisers, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses resulting from use or misuse of the rental vehicle.

 

 

 

8. Agreement Modifications

 

 

West Coast Dream Cruisers reserves the right to modify this Rental Agreement at any time. Updates will be made available on our website, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.

9. Fines & Fees

​

The following fines and fees may apply if rental policies are violated:

​

 

  • Late Return: $50 per hour, up to a maximum of $150 (after 3 hours).

  • Drop-off in Undesignated Area: $150.

  • Unauthorized Parking: $150.

  • Towing Fee: $25.

  • Safety Violations: $150 plus any fines incurred by the scooter.

  • Scooter Damage: Up to $750 plus applicable taxes.

  • Riding in Unauthorized Areas (including but not limited to Fremont Street Experience): $150 plus applicable taxes.

  • Lost Scooter Key: $50 plus applicable taxes.

  • Excessive Cleaning (due to bodily fluids, vomit, etc.): Up to $100.
